As a special Valentine's Day promotion, Carvel sold its iconic Fudgie the Whale cake in pint format. Taking the idea a step further, they also created a pint version of the famous Cookie Puss cake as well.
Fudgie the Whale is a cake that has been sold by Carvel since the 70s and loved by kids ever since. It consists of "two layers of chocolate and vanilla ice cream separated by a layer of Carvel’s signature Crunchies," all of which is topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. The ice cream pint version managed to cram the entire cake into a single container, including a layer of chocolate ice cream, a layer of vanilla ice cream, chocolate crunchies, fudge frosting, and a sprinkling of chocolate crunchies on top.
While no longer available, the cake-inspired pints were part of a special Valentine's Day delivery promotion.
