Set on a rural lakeside in China, the Fuchun Boat Rooms were inspired by the water tribes of the Ming dynasty to create a tranquil and one-of-a-kind travel option for guests looking to connect with nature.
The hut-like cabins are situated directly on the shoreline, giving a floating appearance over the water similar to a boat. Each room is designed to evoke and embrace the ancient culture of traditional boat-living with an arched timber shape. The interiors offer a space that is completely lined with warm wood planks, an oversized skylight above the bed and a fully glazed wall offering views of the water.
The large glass sliding doors on each of the Fuchun Boat Rooms lead out onto a terrace that looks out onto the beautiful aquatic landscape.
