To introduce Australian locations to its newest dish, McDonald's decided to release a series of 'Fryflix' movies to bring Loaded Fries to the masses. A total of five Fryflix ad spots were released, all of which tell the story of french fries unable to escape the wrath of the upcoming Loaded Fries. Each narrative was told through dramatic reenactment and uses fries as characters.
The Loaded Fries option is a first for the fast food giant, allowing patrons to top their McDonald's fries with guacamole and salsa or bacon and cheese sauce. McDonald's signature fries have remained largely untouched, due to their continued popularity. However, these Mexican-inspired add-ons speak to a growing number of consumers who seek to have more multicultural food available in mainstream restaurants.
