The FreshTake concept grocery store is slated to arrive in the summer of 2023 in Augusta, Georgia at a former Whole Foods Market location to provide shoppers with a blend of experiences. The 42,000-square-foot retail space will incorporate fresh foods, bulk items, bakery, general merchandise and health & beauty with the meat staffed by in-store butchers. Shoppers can also have their meat cooked or seafood steamed onsite, while access to a range of readymade foods with ample seating and free WiFi encourage consumers to spend more time in the environment.
