Tourist Smartphone Handouts

South Korea is Offering Free Galaxy Note 5 to Foreign Visitors

South Korea is pretty proud of Samsung and products such as the Galaxy Note 5, which is part of the reason why the Korean Tourism Organization is partnering with the electronics giant and SK Telecom to offer free Galaxy Note 5 phones to select visitors entering the country through the main airport in Seoul.

By handing out free Galaxy Note 5 phones, it is hoped that visitors to South Korea will be impressed by the country's mobile technology (and its generosity) and spread the word back in their home countries.

One may argue that South Korea's consumer electronics offerings are already known around the world, but the country and Samsung look like they're not the complacent type and want to do everything they can to continue to promote a good image of Samsung and Korean technology abroad.
