Kid-Friendly Free Clothing Shops

The Twig Offers Children in Foster Care Clothes at No Cost

The Twig is a free clothing shop that opens its doors twice a month. Run by volunteers, the activations seeks to make fashion accessible to kids in foster care. It is run by an appointment basis and it gives the children "a shopping experience like none other."

Volunteers at The Twig pair each customer with a personal shopper who is responsible to help the kid pick out and try on garments from the store. The free clothing shop's limit is ten items per child per month. The retail activation is surely beneficial to children in foster care who often get funded "as little as $60." This has the potential to not only uplift the confidence of the child but also give back to the community.
