Storage Facility-Inspired Fashion Capsules

Francon's New Collection is Inspired by an Art Storage

Dutch fashion brand Francon's new collection recently debuted to the public during Amsterdam Fashion Week. The launch event was held at the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam which is considered "the world's first publicly accessible art storage depot." The space is clad in mirrors and designed by respected Dutch architecture studio MVRDV.

Francon is known to draw inspiration for its collections from architecture and locations. For fans of the brand, thus, it came as no surprise that Francon's new collection was very much inspired by the interior of the art storage facility. From rhinestone dresses to chic suites in bright colors, the garments were elegant, sophisticated, and eye-catching.

The art behind the transparent display cases in the storage facility also added to the ambiance of the fashion event.
