The speaker has a spherical design that is constructed using 50% post-consumer recycled plastics, 100% post-consumer recycled fabric and 100% recycled die-cast aluminum for a more eco-friendly edge. The unit is powered by the AZ1 Neural Edge silicon module that is capable of utilizing local machine learning to understand what the user is saying before the information is sent to the cloud.
The fourth-generation Amazon Echo smart speaker is priced at $99 and also works as a smart hub thanks to Zigbee compatibility and Ring Smart lighting compatibility coming soon.
