British Airways unveils its new nap lounge at London Heathrow Airport, dubbed Forty Winks. The lounge includes nap pods that allow passengers in need of some pre-flight shuteye to chance to snooze in one of the airline's EnergyPods. Equipped with an adjustable privacy visor, the EnergyPod is designed for short naps.
The EnergyPod has a one-touch start button that activates a pre-programmed 20-minute nap time with a combination of gravity-neutral positioning. When activated, the pod reclines to elevate the feet for a relaxing power nap. For now, the Forty Winks room is exclusive to London Heathrow Airport. However, the airline anticipates adding EnergyPods to its Concorde Room at LHR Terminal 5 and New York's JFK Terminal 7 once global travel restrictions are lifted.
