The Flyknit Collective was put on by Nike to get artists together to create artworks inspired by the invention of Flyknit technology.
Flyknit is a special material that is ideal for runners as it is lightweight, breathable, formfitting and sustainable. To celebrate the launch of this product, artists were asked to create installations, sculptures and structures. The results were astounding as artists from all across the world participated.
iGNANT had a chance to interview one of the artists named Jenny Sabin for her part in the Flyknit Collective titled My Thread Pavillion. Her massive creations really captured the brand and the new shoe technology. They really show how the essence of what the material does through the stretchy and spaced out displays.
