Form & Drang, a German industrial design group, has created Flying Robot tour guides that will be part of an exhibition in Magdeburg, Germany. Ronny Sauer designed the Flying Robot tour guides as a commission for an anonymous German entrepreneur.
The robots look like three dimensional, white excalamtion marks. Measuring 1.4 meters tall with an integrated LED-screen as a ‘face,’ the Flying Robot tour guides will show the exhibition’s visitors around the show and provide them with important facts using a touchscreen application. I’m sure guests will be equally, if not more, interested in their robotic hosts than with the exhibition itself.
