Seems like the traditional rocking chair is getting a facelift (or a leglift if you ask me). For example, check out the Flying Chair. It may look as though it would send you to the moon with its futuristic design, but I'm pretty sure the name doesn't refer to its ability to launch you into space.
Designed by Phillip Grass, the Flying Chair is simply so well-designed and comfortable that it will feel as though you are flying when sitting in it. As an updated version of his digital prototype, hopefully the Flying Chair will see the light of day.
