The Flyboard Zapata Lets You Channel Your Inner Iron Man

The Flyboard Zapata is almost too awesome to be described in words. French jet skiing champion Franky Zapata has built what may very well be the most amazing water toy ever. His Flyboard Zapata is essentially an aquatic Iron Man suit that allows you to soar up to 29 feet in the air.

Perhaps the greatest thing about the Flyboard Zapata is that it seems relatively simple to use. All you need is a jet ski to attach it to. The device is powered by the water released by the jet ski's engine. That water, in turn, is pushed out of the boots and hand controls to propel the rider upwards. The featured video here shows Zapata tearing things up in his creation and looking like he's having a heck of a time doing it. If you're longing to take flight and have an extra $6,700 lying around then the Flyboard Zapata can be yours.
