The process behind the FLX project infuses modern technology into the jean making process through the use of innovative cameras and lasers. First, a photograph of the jeans is edited using computer software to add precise marks, creases and rips that will be featured in the final design. From there, a laser cuts and burns the designs into the physical jean in about 90-seconds. The software used in the FLX project was developed in partnership with Spanish laser and eco-technology specialists Jeanologia.
