Bicycle deliverymen may be out of a job if the Fluidi concept car ever becomes a reality. Designed by six students, Fluidi is a small electrically powered vehicle designed to transport either people or freight through crowded city streets.
Fluidi has a tricycle design with two wheels in the front and one in the rear. Fluidi can sit two people at once with passengers sitting right behind the driver. Traveling at a high rate of speed can be dangerous, which is why a door was included that encloses the passenger/cargo inside the vehicle. Small motorbikes and delivery trucks have long been used to ferry people and supplies from one part of a city to another. The Fluidi concept car could fit seamlessly between the two, providing the maneuverability of a motorcycle with the storage space of a truck.
