While several airlines are still using media queries to make their websites responsive for mobile, it's these deliberate and specialized smartphone apps that make an enormous difference for consumers who are making costly and stressful purchases. Ample white space, large areas to enable accurate touch interaction, and legible text mean that no one should fumble within this flight app. The search screen, the purchase interface and the route information panel are stripped of excess data, icons and images to make the most straightforward UI possible.
