The infotainment display within vehicles has undergone a number of drastic changes over the past several years, but the conceptual Royole Flexible Car Dashboard aims to take things even further.
Designed by Zhiyuan Xing, the in-car dashboard display is imagined as a technology accoutrement that would sit in the middle console to provide immersive access to navigation and more. The malleable design of the display would enable drivers to simply lift the top or bottom section of the unit to reveal a section for storing a smartphone for charging and another area for storage.
The conceptual Royole Flexible Car Dashboard identifies how malleable technology components could be integrated into the modern vehicle cabin to further enhance the user experience for drivers and passengers alike.
