The first time I visited Putrajaya, Malaysia I was blown away by the futuristic and creative architecture. Putrajaya was created a few years ago as the new federal administrative centre of Malaysia, about 30km south of Kuala Lumpur and close to Cyberjaya, the IT center of Malaysia.
Putrajaya is about to add a new astonishing residential project: The Fleet of Putrajaya in the Putrajaya Waterfront Development area.
The sustainable design is unique with marine-inspired structures that resemble ships and draw from the country's traditional Islamic designs. The project is arranged in a permeable, radiating block of bioclimatic architecture.
The project is from Italian Studio Nicoletti Associati and Malaysian architects Hijjas Kasturi Associates, who provided the masterplan of Putrajaya.
