The Fishbone Table Collection modernizes the traditional herringbone pattern by way of color and overall execution. In place of the typical thin angular strips are larger ones that appear more abstractly applied than purposefully placed, especially since the lines don't line up as they normally would.
Designed by Patricia Urquiola in collaboration with Moroso, the Fishbone Table Collection was created to accompany her M.a.s.s.a.s seating collection. By using a malleable palette of a cast acrylic composition, Urquiola was able to incorporate natural materials such as horn, mother-of-pearl, marble and tortoise shell to really enhance each design. Each one is finished with a gloss coat.
The Fishbone Table Collection offers three designs and four table sizes and shapes.
