Twitter Released Its First NFTs and They Pay Homage to the 140 Character Limit

Twitter recently introduced its first NFTs, 140 of them in fact, and they pay homage to the social media platform's original character limit. Rather than making them available for purchase, Twitter will be giving away the digital assets in editions of 20. To participate, Twitter users need to reply to the respective tweets on the thread sharing the animated digital artworks.

As well as taking inspiration from the initial 140 character limit, all of the NFTs reference Twitter or its logo. Some of the available designs include fuzzy Twitter icons, jelly letters that spell out the brand's name or prescription bottles filled with "Vitamin T." Since there are already over 29 million tweets about NFTs on the platform, Twitter is helping to make them more accessible to the average user.
