Jordan Brand has revived the widely popular Air Jordan 3 in its most iconic ‘Fire Red’ colorway. The sneaker, which was initially re-debuted in 2007, was the shoe that earned Michael Jordan MVP honors, a Slam Dunk championship, and a Defensive Player of the Year award. Now, the popular colorway is returning in full force for the Fall season.
The Air Jordan 3 ‘Fire Red’ boasts white tumbled leather uppers that are contrasted by elephant print on the overlays. The sneaker offers titular Jumpman logos, accents on the eyelets, midsoles, and Nike Air branding inspired by the original shoe. This version forgoes the Jumpman insignia on the heel counter, a feature that was originally criticized on the 2007 and 2013 models.
A full list of features and design elements for the Air Jordan 3 in ‘Fire Red’ can be found on the Nike website. The pair launches on the SNKRS app on September 10.
