I can only wonder how much gun crimes would decrease if the 'Fingerprint Gun' was a reality instead of a concept. Sun Xiaotian's design puts a thumbprint detector onto the side of a handgun to prevent anyone but the owner from using it.
The sight on the 'Fingerprint Gun' glows either green or red depending on the thumbprint. Green means go and red means that the thumbprint was not recognized which locks the gun.
