Fiat is paying tribute to its iconic 500 with a new collection of furniture dubbed the Fiat 500 Design Collection. The Fiat 500 Design Collection is made up of a table, sofa and a double-sided sofa all modeled after the 1957 Fiat 500.
The all-white console table was built into the hood of the 500 and features a crystal tabletop. The single-sided sofa is also built into the hood of the 500 and is supported by the car's front two wheels. The most interesting piece to me is the double-sided sofa, which is essentially two of the single-sided sofas placed backed to back. The Fiat 500 Design collection was created by Fiat and designers Meritalia alongside Lapo Elkann, brother to Fiat's chairman John Elkann.
