Ferrari Vertu Phone (£4000)

Nokia's luxury mobile phone brand - Vertu - has launched a limited-edition series with sports car manufacturer Ferrari. Vertu is the only brand of luxury mobile phones in the UK.

Limited to only 1,947 handsets, in a homage to 1947, the year Ferrari first began producing its world famous cars.

Now when I say luxury I mean it - the phones will be sold in selected stores for around £4,000. The cases are made in the same red and black leather Ferrari uses in its cars. The reverse of the phones features a scaled down version of a Ferrari brake pedal, also made from the original materials.

For £4,000 you would want a very special phone and indeed one of the brands USP is its exclusive concierge service available 24 hours a day at the press of a button.
