Asymmetric Summer Fashion

Feng Chen Wang Debuted a Converse Collaboration at Shanghai Fashion Week

Chinese fashion designer Feng Chen Wang debuted her Spring/Summer 2019 collaboration with Converse on the runways of Shanghai Fashion Week recently. The capsule kicked off the event and it is full of reimagined versions of signature pieces by Converse. The main idea exercised is asymmetric elements alongside some blends of style codes, this translates on pieces such as the waist bag that can be tied at the bottom and the top.

The collaborative footwear options are finished in five colorway options in total and boast a reconstructed design on layering. The low-cut silhouette has been altered to be a sandal with a functional strap enclosure over the lacing system. The high-top footwear has canvas paneling and unconventional shapes to reveal the base that lies beneath.
