Petite Felt Animal Heads

These Incredible Felt Factory Characters are Made from Textured Fibers

These adorable Felt Factory characters are handmade by Sabine Alpers, and she uses the leftover wool from sheep that have been raised for meat.

The wool that comes from these sheep can be all different colors and textures depending on the breed. Sabine Alpers doesn't discriminate, in fact she welcomes new colors of wool and textures of hair as they only make her creations more unique.

With the wool she collects she knits little farm animal sculptures. She has a collection of many detailed felt animals which she mounts on small wooden plaques and sells. Some of the animals she has perfected include a mountain goat, a bear, a unicorn, a deer and all the other basic farm friendly animals.

Felt Factory Characters are a much smaller form of taxidermy. They are all natural and each animal seems to have a unique personality.
