Dutch designer Khodi Feiz of the Feiz Design Studio developed the Bras sofa, a unique seating solution that takes into account one's natural arm position while seated. The Bras sofa was developed for Dutch furniture company Artifort.
Unlike conventional sofas whose armrests are placed at an angle perpendicular to the seating surface, the Bras sofa has faceted corners that are angled to follow the natural contour of the human body. This design makes users feel like they are being cradled and embraced by the couch, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing sitting experience.
Feiz Design Studio designed the Bras sofa using a unique construction system which enables its seat, backrest and armrests to move independently.
The Bras sofa comes in two-seater and three-seater versions, with a variety of colors and upholstered finishes available. Buyers also have the option of purchasing accompanying cushions and footrests. Photo Credits: designboom, feizdesign
