This Eclectic Magazine Spring SS14 fashion editorial finds an artsy edge with handmade floral collages.
Photographer Danil Golovkin teamed up with famed collage artist Ashkan Honarvar to merge art with fashion with his latest art series. This fashion editorial brings to life Henri Rousseau’s famed painting The Dream. All collages are handmade with over fifty flowers.
Stylist Masha Mobelli pulls together some of the most iconic looks from the SS14 collections to get the full flower garden makeover including Gareth Pugh, Manish Arora, Shao Yen, and Mary Katrantzou. Bold spring florals bring out the prints and colors in the designers shot by Golovkin beforehand.
Bringing the garden to the pages are insects, snakes, frogs, birds and other fauna to match the flora. Not a single piece is used twice, and will never be used again for a collage, making the editorial truly a unique piece of art.
