The fundamentals of language and nature combine beautifully in this collection called Falling Leaves. It comprises four pieces of carefully cut foliage into the perfect shapes of letters and animals.
Twan van Keulen of Studio Gloeilamp scavenged for some gorgeous specimens of tumbled autumnal leaves, recovering one in a bright yellow, one of a speckled orange and another with a splash of brilliant red. He respectively used a scalpel to painstakingly slice away bits of the branches' yield in order to arrive at amazing alphabetic cutouts.
In addition to the a, b and c, a fourth green leaf was selected to be cut into the flying form of a graceful bird. The pretty pieces that make up Falling Leaves were then assembled within a glass frame to present and preserve them.
