Wireless headphones have become commonplace but are often associated with their sealed construction, so the Fairphone 'Fairbuds' have been created to offer a decidedly more eco-friendly alternative. The earbuds are characterized by their modular construction that enables the batteries to be removed from each earpiece and swapped out at end of life. The earbuds are rated to provide up to six-hours of use per charge, while the charging case provides an additional 20-hours of listening time and also has its own replaceable battery.
The Fairphone 'Fairbuds' have 11mm titanium coated drivers along with active noise cancellation and an IP54 rating for water and water resistance. Priced at €149, the earbuds are currently only available in Europe in black and white color options.
