Pivotting Disk Power Strips

The Extension Box by Jins Alex Swivels Out to a Selection of Sockets

The Extension Box by Jins Alex solves a common office problem: insufficient sockets for the many electronics that cover one's desk. Most power bars are an inefficient use of space and material and often offer only a handful of hookups for one person's workstation. They pale in comparison to this supercharged tower of 16 available plugs.

The designer conceived this contraption using a compact layering technique, because nobody wants these sorts of gadgets to take up too much space. The puck-shaped units are stacked upon one another with no gaps in between, allowing the appliance to be tucked tightly into a tower when few sockets are required. However, to expose each of them, the Extension Box by Jins Alex can be spread open from its slender spine.
