The 'Exposed Concrete Speakers' Shows Shmuel Linski's Love of Raw Materials

The Exposed Concrete Speakers are probably the heaviest duty stereo speakers I have ever set eyes on before. Weighing in at a whopping 123 pounds, it introduces a raw and rustic beauty to otherwise refined living spaces. Granted, I don't think that workers at a construction site would turn down the offer of just one of these Exposed Concrete Speakers to listen to music by.

Created by Israeli designer Shmuel Linski, the Exposed Concrete Speakers is a result of his fascination with concrete, ever since he was a child. However, Linski only started dabbling in design with this material a couple of years ago. Last year as a student at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, he designed a concrete espresso machine and now he has added the Exposed Concrete Speakers to the list.
