Following the debut of an engaging installation that provided the audience a look into mood-enhancing everyday appliances, Japanese designer Yuri Suzuki arranges experimental sound art sculptures at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. The playful project is dubbed ‘Sonic Playground’ and it is an interactive display that invites young and old to experience the wonders of experimental sound art.
Yuri Suzuki uses powder-coated steel and shapes it as "snaking pipes, dishes and horns." The cheerfully chromatic designs total at six unique sculptures. With the Sonic Playground project, the creative is able to foster "an unexpected and unusual audio experience" that strongly depends on the position of the person who is listening or speaking.
