Kioxia's Exceria Plus G3 SSD Lineup is Power-Conservative

Kioxia is launching a new SSD series called 'Exceria Plus G3' that uses the latest PCIe 4.0 technology interface to achieve fast and large storage for PC users. While the device does not use PCIe 5.0, the company elected to use 4.0 due to the maturity and efficiency of the standard. The SSD uses Kioxia’s own 3D flash memory technology in a compact M.2 design that fits easily into the motherboard. The SSD also comes with a software tool that helps users keep track of and optimize their drives.

The Exceria Plus G3 SSD series will be available in the third quarter of 2023 with up to 2TB of capacity. The SSD can reach up to 5,000 MB/s of sequential read and write speeds, which is much faster than the older PCIe 3.0 SSDs. The SSD also has a long lifespan of 800 TBW and a five-year warranty. The price and availability of the SSD are not yet known, but Kioxia says that it will be a good value for money for PC users.
