'Evolve E-Bikes,' the electric bikeshare service founded by the British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA), recently announced that it will begin a three-month pilot program in Whistler, BC.
The program will begin today on August 4th, 2022, and will last until the beginning of November. Currently, there are nearly 20 e-bikes available in the city for rental services, but Evolve stated that this number will reach closer to 60 by the end of the pilot, and will increase even more beyond this if the pilot is successful.
In order to access the service, Whistler residents must download the Evo Car Share app from the BCAA. Once the app has been set up, users will be able to view an interactive map that shows the availability of e-bikes around the city, as well as the valid drop-off locations around the city. Users can then book and reserve bikes through this app.
