Contemplative Animated Captures

Ana Pais' Eternal Moments are Thoughtfully Moving

There is a quietness to the Eternal Moments photo series that is made slightly eerie do to the use of animation. Another example of the growing popularity of animated photography, this series is beautifully contemplative. It really captures the idea of an 'eternal moment.'

Shot by 24 year-old, Porto-based photographer Ana Pais, the Eternal Moments photo series was put together in collaboration with André Tentugal and Christian Unterdechler. Dark and moody, the shoot is especially awesome considering that the lighting and surroundings mimic the emotions of the models, or perhaps it is vice versa.

The Eternal Moments photo series may be a subtle shoot, but that is what makes the movements in each image stand out even more. From eye blinks to moving smoke, it is all quite mesmerizing.
