While clean and structured silhouettes made a strong start at the Estelita Mendonça Fall/Winter 2014 runway show, their linear forms quickly transformed into ones that were more curvaceous and cocooned.
Presented during the shows at PortugalFashion week, the collection stunned an audience of the country's style-setters. The menswear line, entitled "Nagarjuna", follows a theme of emptiness and explores its connection with space, image, concept and feeling.
Oversized sweatsuits, cocooned outerwear garments and oversized trench coat pieces were just some of the memorable show-stoppers from the monochromatic collection. While the majority of this collection was showcased in a mix of black, white and grey hues, garments in a bright blue tone offered a much needed pop of color to the neutral line of menswear pieces.
