Telecommunications company Telefónica is reopening a flagship store in Madrid, Spain -- the Telefónica is nestled in a skyscraper that made its first launch in 1929. The store offers guests an interactive experience as it is redesigned by Studio Banana with the help of Design Bridge and Partners.
Managing director at Studio Banana, Matías Rodríguez speaks about the design approach, "We wanted to recapture the essence of the original space, but also bring in the future." It is located on a major commercial street on the Gran Via to bring a close connection between the city and the community. The ground level kicked off with restoring the facade and the entrance sees a stainless steel cube for visitors to enter and see visual projections.
