The Esme Hotel in Miami recently underwent a facelift, orchestrated by New York studio Jessica Schuster Design and the event planning and design company Infinity Hospitality Group. The collaborators largely drew on the history of the establishment's location during this project. The structure that houses the Esme Hotel was originally built in 1927 and it occupies the Española Way—a pedestrian plaza in Miami Beach that is considered a historical landmark.
Jessica Schuster Design and Infinity Hospitality Group focused on evoking "an artful collage of bohemian grandeur" that will communicate lightness, as well as luxury to guests. The Esme Hotel is doused in various art deco elements, wicker furniture, Mediterranean patterns, and other decadent elements that create a cohesive aesthetic.
