Twelve Architects Introduces the Escapade Silverstone

British design studio Twelve Architects completes the Escapade Silverstone holiday home development which is nestled just on the edge of the Silverstone race track. This is where the British Grand Prix resides and the Escapade Silverstone is made for motorsport fans. There are 60 residences that line up against the famous circuit with some that get as close as 12 meters from the crash barriers.

The director of Twelve Architects, Lorraine Stoutt Griffith speaks about the design, sharing "What makes the project unique is the site, and the juxtaposition of the surrounding natural landscape and the high-velocity track. To one side, you have acres of countryside and to the other, this high-powered, high-precision engineering. Our job was to find a way to bring these two elements together and complement them both."
