BEAMS SSZ, the skatewear branch of the Japanese retailer BEAMS works in collaboration with Vans to bridge the gap between two iconic silhouettes with the Era Skool sneaker model. The brands borrow elements from the Old Skool and the Era sneakers nodding to the late 70s. It boasts a sleek and simple colorway palette.
As the name suggests, the silhouette is quite literally one-half Era and one-half Old Skool. It blends it in a literal way as the inside is the Old Skool and the outside is the Era. The shoes will launch officially at the Harajuku store at a launch event which will take place tomorrow before a wider release will take place on the following day.
