Equinox Fitness Designed 7 Unconventional Luxury Items

The fitness studio Equinox has partnered with the agency Wieden+Kennedy New York for a collection of luxury items, which embody the brand's idea of commitment.

The seven-piece collection were inspired by those who demonstrated strength in the face of adversity, and persevered regardless. In addition to the unconventional nature of the project, what makes each of these designs truly unique is the fact that each one contains a different material, that's not normally used in products. For example, one item, a perfume bottle titled Eau de Blood, Sweat & Tears, features the DNA of Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to run the Boston Marathon. Meanwhile, 'The Truth Lipstick' contains ingredients taken from the pages of the Washington Post, to celebrate the publication's dedication to free press.

Each product will be auctioned in February, with proceeds being donated in support of various non-profit organizations.
