Temperature-Dependent Chargers

The Epiphany onE Puck Uses Heat Differences to Charge Devices

The Epiphany onE Puck is a USB charging device that converts heat differences into energy. When a cold or hot object is placed on the onE Puck's platform, the device proceeds to convert those heat differences into energy that can be used to charge devices up to a maximum output of five watts, which is identical to the maximum energy output of a regular phone charger.

All you have to do is place an object like a hot cup of coffee or a semi-frozen beverage onto the Epiphany onE Puck, and plug the attached USB cable into the device you need to charge. The more extreme the temperature difference, the more charging power the Epiphany onE Puck will deliver.
