Maryland Institute College of Art Goes Super-Green at ICFF

At this year's ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) the students of Maryland Institute College of Art came in full force with many eco-changing ideas for a better world.

The students of the the Environmental Design BFA program and the Graphic Design MFA put together a formidable display of positive ideas to reduce energy consumption and improve quality of life.

The ideas varied from technological items to simple do-it-yourself items. My personal favorite is a parking garage design that fills all suitable areas (roofs, siding and installed steps) with green areas of agriculture.

These ideas are full of positives that we, as a world looking towards the greener side of life, should seriously take into consideration.
