Enoc Armengol Turns Bread Into Seating

Now you won’t have to choose between buying groceries and having cool furniture. Enoc Armengol brings us Panpaati—a delightfully edible bread furniture set of chairs and a table.

The forms are individually unique, as the dough allows the designer to design on a whim. Although they are not for sale, these chairs do exist in prototype form.

Armengol is enthusiastic about Panpaati’s direct correlation with societal and ecological ideas. He is a young Spanish designer who focuses on creative art driven concepts. He studied under designers at Vitra workshops in France, designing eco-friendly furniture and working with recycled materials.
