Optoma, the Taiwan-based multinational company that specializes in a range of multimedia solutions that run the gamut from projectors to flat panels, LED displays and image processing technologies, has launched a brand new 4K projector that is designed to function as a slightly altered version of the 'UHZ35ST' projector that it happened to launch quite recently.
Whereas the 'UHZ35ST' was a lamp-based projector, the all new 'UHZ35ST' eschews the lamp in favor of a laser light source mechanism that allows for projections of up to 3,500 lumens in broad daylight with an impressive 500,000:1 contrast ratio. What's more, this particular 4K projector is also energy-efficient in that it is designed to be able to curb power consumption by more than 45 percent, which also allows for extensive exploitation of the projector's eco mode functionality.
This projector can generate 4K visuals up to 100 diagonal inches, and also features gaming modes and a range of connectivity features, making it an ultra-flexible short-throw 4K projector option.
