Developed by WindStream Technologies, the SolarMill is described as the most complete renewable energy generator in the world. The MobileMill incorporates this hybrid technology, resulting in a mobile trailer with both solar photovoltaic panels as well as vertical axis wind turbines in one. Created for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, the integrated device uses wind power when the sun isn't shining and solar power when there isn't sufficient wind power. The energy mill functions within one minute and can provide 4kW of sustainable energy.
