Domino's recently teamed up with the design agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky to launch a new campaign to promote emoji literacy. The two companies previously worked together on an emoji ordering system that allows users to order Domino's pizza via text, simply by typing a pizza emoji. The latest collaborative project involves a series of flashcards aimed at helping users understand the meaning behind each emoji.
Domino's has drawn up 52 flashcards, each of which features a different emoji character. The back of the card explains what the emoji is, as well as a tongue-in-cheek explanation of how to use the character. The goal of the campaign is to promote emoji literacy and make users aware of the fact that they can order Domino's simply by typing a pizza emoji.
While physical card decks are already sold out, users can print their own cards for free online.
