A new Emoji license plate could be coming to Vermont state soon to the delight of drivers who are looking to customize their ride with one of the digital characters. The license plate customization feature was brought forth as a bill by Democrat Rebecca White and would allow drivers to add in one of six different emoji characters onto their license plate. This would come in addition to the existing combination of letters and numbers, and could help to provide additional funds to the state by charging drivers an additional fee for the service.
The Vermont Emoji license plate, if made available, would become the first US state to allow the digital characters on consumer vehicles plates.
