Artist Emma Webster is much more than a landscape printer as she turns her attention to technology to capture her visual creativity -- recently showcased at her solo exhibition at the Stems Gallery. For those that have missed the opportunity to attend, the new range of lithographic prints aptly named La Nouvelle Epoque, which translates to The New Era has just been released.
There are 50 prints and each one has a different look done by different executions. Many display recognizable outdoor forms including trees and waters along with orbs that are meant to resemble the moon or the sun. Webster starts out by sketching out a rough look of the scene then starts scanning and distorting the element through a virtual reality program.
